Beer: Phantom Bride Style: IPA ABV: 7.1% IBU: 55 Hops: Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic ———————————– Brewery: Belching Beaver Brewing – Vista, CA Brewery IG: @belchingbeaver ———————————– Rating: 3.75/5 Notes: This offering from Belching Beaver is the first I’ve had of any of their beers. While drinkable and not bad, it wasn’t anything special either. Not a lot stood out with this one. The hop lineup is legit and stacked but it just didn’t have it. Looking forward to more beers from these all as it looks like they could be brewing some great stuff. Great shout out to the Deftones! ———————————– What do you think about this Phantom Bride beer?

Notes: This offering from Belching Beaver is the first I’ve had of any of their beers. While drinkable and not bad, it wasn’t anything special either. Not a lot stood out with this one. Beer: Space Invader Style: IPA ABV: 7% IBU: – Hops: Galaxy ———————————– Brewery: Great Notion – Portland, OR Brewery IG: @greatnotionpdx ———————————– Rating: 5/5 Notes: Another winner from Great Notion. Juicy, hazy, delicious…. This one is packed with galaxy hops which gives it a punch of hopiness. While this is super good it’s doesn’t beat out the Ripe imho :) It is close though… Can Art: Great Notion your art is on point. The block print style is legit. Beer: Invasive Species Style: IPA ABV: 6.3% IBU: 70 Hops: Cascade, Nugget, and Amarillo hops ———————————– Brewery: Captured By Porches – Gresham, OR Brewery IG: ? ———————————– Rating: 4/5 Notes: Solid IPA with a great, strong malt flavor with some hops to balance it out. Hops are most noticeable at the tail end of the taste. Very flavorful and amberish. ———————————– What do you think about this Invasive Species beer?

I’ve tried numerous beers of Great Notions at the restaurant, and now in cans, but it was either not on tap or I tasted too many other ones :) I must say that I’ve been missing out. I’m all about Citra hops. This beer is #theshit. My new favorite of Great Notions. Cheers! ———————————– What do you think about the Ripe IPA from Great Notion?

Beer: Hysteresis Style: DIPA ABV: 8.3% IBU: 80 Hops: ? ———————————– Brewery: 3 Magnets Brewing Company – Olympia, WA Brewery IG: @3magbrewing ———————————– Rating: 4.25/5 Notes: Doesn’t taste like it’s strong even though it’s a #DIPA. Not too bitter or hoppy. I love that the can makes fun of it not being hazy. “Oh no where’s the haze?”, “There is no haze. But I can’t walk away”, “Nor can I. It’s drawing me in”. This beer drew me in too. First sip was “this is good”, last sip was “this is great”.
