I’ll be honest that I wasn’t expecting much as I was a bit mediocre on Mandela but this one turned up pretty legit. Those southern hops stand out well and are very balanced making this one pretty smooth. Can art: Awesome art work. Drinkage: Day of release which was 8 days after date on can. ———————————–

Beer: Time Bandits Style: DIPA ABV: 8% IBU: – Hops: Nelson, Wai-iti, and Moteuka ———————————– Brewery: Great Notion – Portland, OR and Brouwerij West – San Pedro, CA Brewery IG: @greatnotionpdx and @BrouwerijWest ———————————– Rating: 3.25/5 Notes: This poured out with a huge head and tons of carbonation but when it settled and I drank it the beer just fell flat for me. Looking forward to more collabs with Great Notion and Brouwerij West. Can art: Awesome. Do they do two runs of stickers with the cut out stickers? They are sick and layered on top of each other. When I compared it to another can they exactly the same placement so they aren’t random. Great job. Even the UPC bar code is in there on one of the dinosaurs. Brouwerij West always has those sweet cut sticker labels… Drinkage: No date but pretty fresh after Great Notion got cans so should be good. ———————————–

Beer: 3-Way (Citra 2019) Style: IPA ABV: 7.2% IBU: – Hops: Citra and ? ———————————– Brewery: Fort George – Astoria, OR, Ruse Brewing- Portland, OR, and Cloudburst Brewing – Seattle, WA Brewery IG: @fortgeorgebeer, @rusebrewing, @cloudburstbrew ———————————– Rating: 4/5 Notes: Ah yes you know it’s summer when 3-way pops up. This year features a collab with Ruse and Cloudburst. Those are two solid breweries and combined with Fort George, that’s an awesome 3-way. This year they are rotating the dominant dry hop and this version was of Citra hops. It’s nice and bright and easy to drink. Not much hop bitterness and slightly juicy but not very hazy. Good stuff. I’m sure I’ll be drinking the shit out of this beer all summer. Can Art: Awesome design with the three brewery cats. Drinkage: 13 days after date on can ———————————–

Notes: Ah yes you know it’s summer when 3-way pops up. This year features a collab with Ruse and Cloudburst. Those are two solid breweries and combined with Fort George, that’s an awesome 3-way. This year they are rotating the dominant dry hop and this version was of Citra hops. It’s nice and bright and easy to drink. Not much hop bitterness and slightly juicy but not very hazy. Good stuff. I’m sure I’ll be drinking the shit out of this beer all summer.

Bottle art: Nice and classy art. It took me a minute to see the Branches in the design but really dig it. Drinkage: Brewed in Feb 18, bottled in Aug 18 and drank 11 months later.

Very smooth with all that tropical stone fruit flavor. Not hop burn and very crushable. Can art : Great illustration. Nice. Drinkage: 37 days after date on can. A bit late for sure but still held up nicely. ———————————–
